Beanbags and Goodies for Sale : A beanbag is a great, portable alternative to a heavy tripod for photographers, and I'm now offering beanbags for sale. Fabrics vary depending on availability, but some samples are shown below. Price to US addresses is $12 total, and they are sent unfilled with a small vertical seam you need to hand stitch after filling with dried beans, rice or other similar filling. If you'd like to order one, please email me at: morningstar14@gmail.com

UPDATE!! After many requests, I'm now proud to be able to offer the Tips from the Top Floor (www.tipsfromthetopfloor.com) commemorative beanbag, in fabric regular listeners will recognise, and featuring the show's logo too. Price for this special beanbag is $17 including shipping to US addresses. And note that the TFTF iron on logo patch is also available for purchase separately for $7 including mailing, so if you'd like to add it to your camera bag, jacket or baseball cap, you can do that as well. Personal cheques and PayPal are welcome. My email address is: morningstar14@gmail.com

Tips from the Top Floor Assignments : Thanks goes out to my friend Chris Marquardt, whose excellent podcast, Digital Photography Tips from the Top Floor has taught me most of what I've learned about digital photography. If you've not listened to this fun, excellently produced and very helpful three times a week podcast, I encourage you to check it out at: www.tipsfromthetopfloor.com. Here are various assignments I've participated in via the show or forum.

The Alphabet Challenge : The Alphabet Challenge was issued for the month of September 2005 by a Tips from the Top Floor forum member, and of all the things I've done to date, was the most difficult, yet it was great fun looking for letter shapes in the everyday things I look at. I'd like to reshoot a couple of these if I find better, but at least I completed it!
